Million Dollar Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup nuts; chopped
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 2 cups flour

Steps

  1. Cream shortening and sugars.
  2. Gradually add egg; mix well.
  3. Add dry ingredients, vanilla, and nuts.
  4. Roll in little balls and put on un-greased cookie sheet.
  5. Use sugared glass to flatten cookies out.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes.
