Baked Fish

Great alternative to frying fish.

  • 1 lb walleye, perch, or other filets
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup crushed potato chips
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tbsp dry bread crumbs
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Steps

    Cut fish into serving-size pieces.

    Place milk in a shallow bowl.

  3. 3

    In another shallow bowl, combine potato chips, Parmesan cheese and thyme.

    Dip fish into milk, then coat with the potato chip mixture.

  5. 5

    Sprinkle a greased 8" square baking dish with bread crumbs.

    Place fish over crumbs; drizzle with butter.

    Bake, uncovered, at 500 degrees for 12-14 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork.
