Fancy Mint Candies

This recipe makes about 4 dozen little candies.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar (2 1/2–2 3/4)
  • 3 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 tsp flavoring of your choice
  • 2 drops food coloring of your choice (2–3)

Steps

  1. Mix flavoring and coloring with cream cheese.
  2. Add powdered sugar gradually.
  3. Mix and knead as for pie dough.
  4. Roll in balls the size of a marble and then in a small amount of sugar.
  5. Press into mold and turn to unmold on wax paper.
