No Roll Sugar Cookies

  • 2 cups butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar
  • 4 cups flour

Steps

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.

    Sift flour, baking soda and cream of tartar into creamed mixture.

    Mix well.

  5. 5

    Drop on greased cookie sheet by teaspoonfuls.

  6. 6

    Press down with a glass bottom dipped in sugar.

  7. 7

    Bake at 375 degrees for about 12 minutes.
