No Roll Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 cups butter
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 tsp vanilla
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp cream of tartar
• 4 cups flour

Steps

1. Cream butter and sugar.
2. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
3. Sift flour, baking soda and cream of tartar into creamed mixture.
4. Mix well.
5. Drop on greased cookie sheet by teaspoonfuls.
6. Press down with a glass bottom dipped in sugar.
7. Bake at 375 degrees for about 12 minutes.
